Burkhard has recently been approved for a Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. The project will see the hotel transition from a Best Western. The hotel was developed by Burkhard in 2002 and is less than 0.5 miles to the Mohegan Sun Casino. The extensive renovation project is currently scheduled for February 2017 and is anticipated to take 6-9 months to complete.
